Editorial Policy
Accuracy and evidence
Articles must distinguish verified facts, analysis, recommendation, and opinion. Material factual claims should be supported by primary documentation, direct evidence, or credible independent sources. When the evidence is incomplete, the article should say so plainly.
Authorship
Every article must identify a real person or the Operational Visibility Editorial Desk. Bylines must link to an author page describing relevant experience and material relationships. A collective byline may be used when multiple editors contribute and no single author is the appropriate owner.
Case studies
A case study may name an organization only with appropriate permission or when the information is already public and accurately sourced. Anonymized case studies must disclose that names and identifying details were removed. Outcomes must not be invented. If quantitative results cannot be verified, the article should describe only the architecture, operating changes, and observed qualitative outcomes.
Contributors
Outside contributors may submit pitches and drafts, but publication is not automatic. Editors may request evidence, revise structure and language, reject unsupported claims, and decline material that is primarily promotional. Contributors must disclose employment, investments, advisory roles, client relationships, sponsorships, and other material conflicts.
Commercial content
Sponsored content must be labeled clearly before the headline and in page metadata. Sponsorship does not guarantee favorable conclusions. Affiliate links, if ever used, must be disclosed near the link and on the disclosure page.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected promptly. Material corrections include a note explaining what changed and when. Minor spelling, formatting, and clarity edits do not require a correction note unless they alter meaning.
Use of AI
AI may assist with research organization, transcription, summarization, editing, code, and visual ideation. A human editor remains accountable for every published page. Fabricated quotations, sources, data, companies, people, or case-study outcomes are prohibited. Articles materially produced with AI assistance should be checked for accuracy, originality, sourcing, and unintended duplication before publication.
Reviews and comparisons
Reviews and comparisons must disclose evaluation criteria, access arrangements, sponsorship, and relevant commercial relationships. The publication does not accept payment in exchange for a predetermined ranking or conclusion.
Takedown and disputes
Requests concerning accuracy, attribution, privacy, or intellectual property should be sent to editor@operationalvisibility.blog. The editorial team will review the request, preserve relevant records, and respond based on the evidence and applicable rights.
