Marketplace Integrations

What Is Rithum?

Rithum is a commerce network platform formed by the combination of CommerceHub and ChannelAdvisor. It connects brands, retailers, and marketplaces for two broad motions: dropship programs, where a retailer sells and the brand ships directly to the consumer, and channel selling, where a brand manages its listings, pricing, and orders across marketplaces and digital channels.

Why it matters

Dropship networks carry retail-grade obligations: item setup against retailer requirements, order acknowledgement and ship-confirmation deadlines, packing-slip branding, and compliance scorecards — the same lifecycle discipline described in the Retailer EDI Lifecycle case study, delivered through a network rather than point-to-point EDI. For brands, joining a retailer's dropship program through such a network trades integration effort for platform dependency, and the fulfillment promises made on the retail side must be backed by real warehouse capability — see 3PL-Agnostic Does Not Mean 3PL-Neutral.

Rithum vs adjacent categories

Like ChannelEngine, Rithum sits on the seller/brand side of marketplace connectivity; unlike Mirakl, it does not primarily power an operator's own marketplace. Its dropship network heritage makes retailer programs a distinguishing strength.
